engine swap on my td5
hey folks, I have just swapped my td5 with a donner engine (same vintage).
the engine is back in the car, bolter to bell housing and engine mounts done.
going to start putting the remaining items back. (pas, exhaust manifold, intercooler radiator, fuel cooler etc....)
my question is. should I keep my current ECU with the fairly hot tune or should use the supplied ECU (mild tune) with donner engine?
BTW. torque converter was changed with a lower stall from TCT in Melbourne
I figure either way I will have use the nanocom. what would be easier, recoding the injectors or program the security?
or because I have the lower stall, should I stick with the hotter tune?
thoughts anyone

Hi Troy
If I do an engine swap I pull the Rocker cover , this allows me to do 4 things.
Physically check the injector codes against what has been programmed and rectify if required
Check Cam timing and for any scoring on lobes and rockers
Check injector bump clearance.
Replace harness if required
Maybe get it going on the supplied ecu and see if you like it, you can always change it back later
