If considering replacing injector seals, re-torque the injector retaining bolts first in case the bolts aren't tight enough allowing the copper washers to not seal adequately.

I remember when bros' TD5 did this too just before we changed the injector seals.
Can we assume that the OP does a normal start up, in that jump in, turn key straight to start .. as opposed to key in, ign on for a few secs and then start(pre heat)?
TD5 don't usually need pre heat. But a few sec of ign first can prime the fuel system up properly as the pump pressurises the system up, then instant start.
If you're losing fuel pressure overnight .. just enough to have the slight delay in start time, it can also make a knocking noise which disappears as soon as engine starts.
