sierrafery, I am quoting from the other forum where you posted about checking voltage at fuel pump relay.

Quote So: with multimeter set on mV measure across fuse F10(30A) in situ while the pump(or engine) is running,

How do you measure voltage across a fuse? To measure voltage you need a positive and negative .

So I assume what you mean is to measure voltage at the fuse, ie the leads from multimeter one to earth and one to the fuse.

    Am I correct here?
    Dave.

I was asked " Is it ignorance or apathy?" I replied "I don't know and I don't care."

Measuring mV across the fuse will actually reveal the current draw of the pump as i explained in that post you quoted, it's about the voltage drop on the fuse, to understand see this The BEST Way TO Perform a Parasitic Draw Test - YouTube (it's not me in the video)
    Discovery Td5 (2000), manual, tuned
