    ABS sensor refitting tip

After trying quite a few times to get a brand new quality sensor to work - I ditched (aka accidently lost ) the o-ring.

I gooped up the upper section of the sensor with some gasket silicone and refitted it without the o-ring.
For the first time in months, I've now got a fully working ABS system

Not sure if the o-ring was holding the sensor up just a little bit, I don't know for sure - but if you're having dramas, try without the ring.

There has been a bit of discussion of the different sizing of the sensors, FYI had the same problem where fitting the sensor as the sensor was too far away with the O ring and the continual appearance of the 16 * low sensor on Nanocom and the three Mexican friends popping up to say hello. Most frustrating is having to actually fit and drive for the 5 mins or so until the 16 times, then pulling it all apart again. Have to put some longer front sensors on the back right as it pulls out at full extension, advice was to measure the lengths of the current and new sensor before fitting...

It's funny, I checked the length of the new sensor against the old one that came out. The new was actually longer!
I've got an old oscilloscope tucked away in storage somewhere, next time I have to change one of these I'll be testing it before reassembly.
    will save heaps of grief.

    Cheers
