Hi Arthur,
Thanks for the detailed reply. I did say in my original post that I’d got more into the bag by jacking the car, I’m just trying to avoid having to do that every time they need a top up.

Having given it more thought it’s clearly a pressure/volume differential between the small tank on the compressor and the large volume of the bag. The compressor sees 100 psi and stops.

Looks like the solution is a higher rated compressor probably without a pressure switch. Interested to know which ones people are using.
