Recently has an oil leak on the back of my LT230SE transfer box. Upon inspection, two of the studs used to secure the harmonic damper in place, were snapped. Ordered replacement FTC1919 studs and fitted:



As you can see, the new studs are not as long on the damper mounting side. Their short length means that the crimp (not sure of the proper name) at the end of the flange nuts cannot bite on and help lock in place.

They also lack the integrated washer although a standard M10 or 3/8" should fit fine. Land Rover offers WA110061L washers as suitable.

I mention this purely as an FYI. Reuse the original full length studs were possible.
