    Side lights Not Working.

Non of the side lights are working, this includes the pair in the winch bar. Looking at RAVE I see link 13 that supplies voltage to the switch and the relay. The link looks good and the multi-meter confirms this. I swapped the relay R125 with the LHS indicator relay. Indicator works fine with both relays. Side lights still not on. I do not think that both fuses could have gone. I couldn't find my fuse removing tool, si they have to be checked. It does seem to me to be unlikely that both fuses have gone. If this proves not to be the case, what do I look at?

Before I had a Land Rover I did not have any torque wrenches. Now I have three.

That makes sense. I like a nice down to earth answer.

There's no relay involved in the side lights operation it's only FL13 to the switch's side lights contact and fuses F11 for LHS and F33 for RHS side lights, if FL13 is good bridge the side lights contact on on the lighting switch's connector C0041 pins 3 - 4 to rule out that part. There is no common earth for all the side lights so that's very unlikely

According to RAVE it is R125. See picture, RELAY-SIDE LIGHTS (R125)
    Different earths!!

There are all kind of oddities in RAVE when it comes to lighting circuits, especially for facelifts, they are also mixing FL12 with FL13 in some cases but no matter where i look i can't find any relay involved in side lights operation and it can't be one as long as the bulbs get feed directly from the switch through the fuses which is valid for all the head or tail lights on the D2(except DRLs and indicators)

I was looking at the English Export version. I think that is the one I'd have in Australia, except after a closer look, it has LHD!! The English 2003 does not have the relay. I'm thinking is power getting to link 12? tomorrow, I'll see if it has 12V to ground on one side.

You should try to bridge the switch's side light contact first as i said for simplicity, FL12 is for starter

Could L12 supply both? RAVE seems to think so. I'll bridge the contacts tonight. Where is the best place to do that?
