D2a with mods. Sell as is or in parts

So the Disco TD5 has a crack in the cylinder head at injector 4. Diesel leaked into the sump and she got hot and i pulled over. Towed back home to inspect. Thought it was just the seals, but alas, no.

I have a ute now and need to move the Disco on. It has some good bits

    • Tom Woods HD prop shaft
    • Xrox bull bar with Les Richmond HD recovery points
    • Les Richmond springs with Billsteins (2 inch lift)
    • Transmission that was reco'd about 30k ago
    • ECU has a TD5 Inside stage 1 map
    • Have a Nanocom with all the TD5 stuff unlocked
    • Engine has a new harmonic balancer and new time case cover
    • Transfer case was overhauled about 50k ago
    • New front discs and pads
    • 4 x Very new Pirelli scorpion MTRs 265/75R16- about 3k on them

Would you sell it in pieces or as a whole? Feel like I won't get much for a non-running disco, so might be better to pull the good bits out and sell separately and then scrap the rest.

You'll must likely get more all up if you dismantle, but it's a lot of work and you might have to deal with 50 different buyers to get it all sold... So that's the trade off!

Thanks shack. Yeah, that seems the way.

Might not be worth trying to salvage money from the money pit!

I'd be keen on the rear Billies if they're not taken :-)
