Don't think about worm clamps around the springs and perches, they are nasty, will transmit noise, (you have a nice vibration isolator on the top spring mount) and will snap on the fourth or fifth full extension.
I know about the snapping as I was a cheap arse and ran them on the rear of the 130 and was constantly replacing them.
Perentes used a strap to prevent spring dislocation (did Defenders?), restricting droop.
Are they still available and suitable?

Nope, never seen a limit strap on a 110/130.

Just get the shocks, fit, cycle the suspension and then work out what you need.

Finally, visually the proportions of a stock height D2 are spot on, why spoil a good look.
I think the proportion are better with a +50mm lift and 235x85x16 tyres.

My old one next to yours. IMG_1111.jpg

I had no issues with ACE.

Mine definitely had a better looking pilot.
Looks like Yarraman, possibly Coominya, do you remember?

As for the pilot. Beauty is in the eye of the beer holder.

That would've entailed a little trim on the front a rear guards, Ray?
Next set of tyres will be 32's, so I'm ready for the trim, but that's a way off yet. Currently 31's.

No trimming required for skinny tyres. Any wider at that aspect ratio then definitely. Not sure about lower profiles.
