Thread: lock nuts on D2

    lock nuts on D2

    Mate with his D2 has locking nuts on the studs
    It has the letter H on them.
    Does anyone know how to get them off and are plain nuts easy to buy(eg supercrap,repco etc)
    What a bloody pain.............

    Vice grips work ok buy second hand from wreckers or e bay.

    You have to have the right nuts to secure the mags, so no, SC, Repco are no good. Also, you can't use the ones from the spare, they. are the wrong length.

    That's what I did, plain nuts, not locknuts. After all, even if someone did want to steal 20+ year old wheels, they wouldn't be able to get the bloody things off!

    Unfortunately the locking wheel nut adaptor that I've got is stamped 'I' so no good for his 'H' nuts.

    However, I do have 4 standard Disco mag wheel nuts that are excess to my requirements. So, if he manages to get the locking nuts off and wants to do away with them then these are available.

    Oh ......and I'm in northern Sydney near Hornsby - PM if you want further details.
