How do they work?
Obviously the grease comes out of the needle, but where are you sticking it?
Does the needle fit into the grease nipple? Wouldn't that kill the non return ball?
I am interested to see one in action.

These are more robust than the hypodermic type like the Toldeo needle linked in your post Tins.

As pointed out by Ozscott, you need the stronger one, not the hypodermic.
We use both, the hypodermic to re pack bearings and the needle point for Universal's.
The needle pushes the ball in then you grease it, probably need to use a pistol grip gun though so you have a hand free.
I've never seen either type, so thanks to both of you. The OKA has many nipples....
I haven't used many pistol grips but I really like my Macnaught pistol grip. Fast trigger it and you get lower volume higher pressure and slow grip gives more volume lower volume. And it works well especially for old stubborn nipples especially with a locking end put on. Cheers
