What i observed is that nanocom loses comms if you crank the engine while it was connected to the non running engine and this happens cos for that short cranking time the aux power is lost so if you want to read live inputs connect it while the engine is running. Any action with the ignition while nanocom is connected will cut the comms with it. Also after you unpluged it always wait 60 seconds untill you plug it back if you didnt switch it competely off from the screen before unplugging it. And never unplug the lead from nanocom side while it's connected to the OBD socket, that's important
