My A pillar trims were flapping around and about to fall off, so after getting some not-so-great aftermarket replacements that didn't go on as they should I was worries about breaking them while trying to fit them.
I found the clips supplied were bending so I got a bit radical (using some new and some old clips).

Fixing clip with Rhino rack dowel nut added and secured with tie wire.

Removed clip mounting tab from the new trip using Dremel cutting wheel.
Stainless steel security screws with wedge pieces to accommodate angle to suit dowel nuts.

I still need to tidy up the wedges so they look more 'finished', but this along with reusable trim fittings on the door opening side means I can take this on and off easily.

Did this a little while ago, and just getting to posting now in case anyone else is interested.
