I have mapped about 25 cars with td5zilla tunes all love them including my on my daily disco, vnts are definitely harder to setup and dial in remotely and remember quite a few td5s have underlying issues that don’t get fixed so slapping a vnt and tune won’t magically solve it which some people think
I have the TRS tune, there are better options? I need to learn more [emoji108] it blows black smoke under boost for a second! I'd love to not have that tune as I hate that place, they did me so wrong after and stole my modified manifold and put a warped one on it! Had to go get it then change it back myself! Thieves they are

Reading the thread, basically it looks like it would be possible to set up a stepless vane controller fairly simply (I think the TD5 has basically the same inputs as the ZD) and I have read that the 3lt turbo's from the common rail patrols work on the TD5. Obviously it wouldn't be exactly plug and play, even with the Pootrol guys they need to make adjustments/tune etc to fully make use of the VNT
Personally I would love a properly controlled VNT'd TD5, I think it would pretty much transform the way it would drive (on and off road) with very little compromise, sadly at the moment my piggy bank is telling me that this will have to wait a while..
