    td5 bad throttle response

    Hi everyone

I got some issues on my td5 AT, it have a bad throttle response issue, when i start the engine and try to pull away it just go very slowly just like there isnt power enough, and when A/C is on it gets even worse, i tought it was a MAF problem, but i already bough an VDO and had the same result, i also did a bypass on maf sensor as test, in the ECU loom, and there was no change again, i checked for oil on ECU loom and no signal of oil, i also checked the wastegate actuator and it wasnt stuck.

Also, when im drinvin down the streets and i have to stop at traffic light, the pull out go very slowly, just like a "lag".

    Any tips?

Ps: i dont have an nanocom.

Worth checking the MAP sensor as well, wiry mine that was causing more issues than the MAF. It is minted on the inlet manifold

Can you hear the fuel pump running when near the fuel filter with only the ignition on but the engine not running?
A non-functioning fuel pump can cause your issue as just enough fuel is pulled through to run the engine on light throttle, providing nothing in the line is removed to allow air ingress, such as by loosening the fuel filter or removing the fuel temperature sensor.

+1 for the fuel pressure issue, it can happen even if the pump is running, you can make a rudimentary check with multimeter which can be relevant explained here Disco 2 - Check Td5 fuel pump HP | LandyZone - Land Rover Forum

Did the test, started the engine and measure the mV on F10 fuse , and it showed 14.4 mv (red probe on fuse, black probe on battery negative), thats kinda awkward, because i changed the fuel pump (WFX000280) 7 months ago.

You have to check across the two pins of the fuse cos as you checked it should have been 14.4V not mV as you measured the ignition live that way if you see what i mean...you have to measure like in the pic... though if it passes this way and you dont have access to diagnostics you should replace the MAP sensor to rule it out
