    Hi new member here

I have very recently acquired a D2, high miles at 375k miles. Fairly solid chassis, font sills have had it but the rest of the body in pretty good nick. I came on here as I had a problem with the rear lights, reverse, fogs and brake lights. None of them working. I found the information very useful on here. Fixed all the lights yesterday. Now all working again. Today will be the passenger window which has come off the runner and currently being held up with some card board 😂.
I'm now on the hunt for some drawings of a 2 inch lift, just the blocks, its currently just on springs as the air system on rear has been taken off. I would like to fabricate 4 blocks as I have the tools to make them, I just need the dimensions of them, hole positions ect so if any1 has any laying around that would be a great help if you could lay a tape measure across the top of the holes and centre square bit. The d2 is on an 04 plate, also need to sort out the locked diff as I have the components, but not connected up but I will bypass the gear stick and have it separate somewhere else.

Welcome. That is a high mileage Disco, 600k km for us metric types. Mine is only up to 400k! As some one who took out the coils and added the SLS air springs, (One day I will put in the wiring loom and compressor) You could put the air springs back. As for the 'blocks, you can buy extended springs, I'd guess at 375k miles yours are likely worn and saggy. I put extended springs on the front, Dobinsons, with extended shock absorbers. SLS with 2 inch spacers and extended shockers on the rear.

These do the 2 inch spacers FAR - Discovery 2 rear air suspension spacers- 2 inch – Far Corners

Before I had a Land Rover I did not have any torque wrenches. Now I have three.
