What brand is that Simon, Slunnibuilt? I've never seen a design like that before, particularly without lights.

Sure is Slunniebuilt. I built it in 2005. The design followed the shape of the OE bar as closely as off the rack section metal does. I ran reverse lights mounted to it, and then rewired the OE reverse lights as blinkers and then installed yellow globes.

It was always my intention to do the reverse light blinker conversion when I fitted the steel bar 4~5 years ago. I just haven't got around to it yet. [bigwhistle]

It's not fancy but I've been running a bit of 100*45 pine painted black with 2 trailer lights as a temporary solution till I make a steel bar. Really should get around to that.

Not sure why it wants to be sideways but eh.
I might be a bit bias, but I think its a pretty nice bar. I think doing it again I'd simplify the design a lot from a construction point of view, but some of those sections are no longer available - 100x100x1.6 notably, I think 2.5 wall might be the minimum now, but thats probably fine still. Actually it might still be better once lights are fitted. It still needs some design work and fabrication to fit lights - if only I had time! I don't think I have time to manufacture these, but it is a shame, as they'd probably come out a lot cheaper than those on the market.
