    NNN ECU

Having sourced a spare NNN ECU, are there any other settings apart from injector codes that I need to change when I use it?
    Dave.

I was asked " Is it ignorance or apathy?" I replied "I don't know and I don't care."

You have to make it learn te security code with nanocom utility otherwise the engine will not start.

So what is involved in doing the security code?

I plugged Nano in today for a look. Out of interest I tapped the "Learn Security Code" and it started asking questions.

I crapped myself thinking I might immobilise the car, so I pulled out.

Leaving on a big trip in 2 days. The last thing I need was an immobilised car.

"Learn security code" will make it so that the ECU you just plugged will work and run the car, it shouldn't change anything in the original car setup, and the original ECU will still work when you plug it back in.

I haven't fitted the other one yet. I am yet to take possession of it.

So I assume from what you have written is that when I do install it, that I just hit the "Learn security code" button and it will just learn it.

Is this correct or do I have to input a code?

Yes, the process is automatic... then once confirmed as learned that ECU is plug and play for your vehicle

Does that apply if going to NNN from MSB? I assume so.

You assumed correctly... the ECU type is irrelevant for this particular setting
