    The market is full of all kind of aftermarkets so the brand is your choice, it's like a lottery but a reputable brand like Bosch can't be bad, important is to not buy a defender pump for the D2 nor vice versa cos they are not the same size and have different gauge senders addapted to each vehicle's fuel tank

    The general consensus from what I've always read and personally done, is to fit the OEM unit which is the VDO/Siemens pump. I get a fairly consistent 120,000km per pump, YMMV

    After making enquiries on a UK forum, I have been advised this vendor is long established and reputable.

    It looks like the Bosch part is only the filter the rest is Chinese crap, lucky to get 20000 ks out of it , go VDO, unfortunately the price has gone through the roof.

    It was possible, at one time, to just buy the pump part and swap that over. I haven't seen that option for a few years.

    I got one from british4wd land rover parts hobart last year he had in stock but hadnt advertised so might be worth trying
