On the nanocom did you do this:

During any diagnostic session, provided you have an SD card in the Nanocom Evolution, you can record the data on the
screen when this icon is displayed in the bottom right corner. Pressing the Save icon once gives you a box where you
need to give the file a name. To do this, touch the screen in the white "name" box and it will bring up the on screen
keypad. Type in the required name and click Ok. You will receive a message to say "Data recording started ". When you
have sufficient data press the icon again to stop the recording process.
I did all this and it said it had saved the log file, but according to my brother the file is completely empty! Will go for another drive tonight and try again, I have a 16gb drive which was the smallest I could find, but it is programmed correctly according to google
Sometimes cards bigger than 2-4 GB can be incompatible with the Nanocom.
Attempted to get a log file, truck has died, low voltage and won't start on the side of the road ...
Was not prepared and had a brisk 10 minute walk before a stranger picked me up and dropped me home. Will update when it's home and on the driveway, probably with a bit more light as it's 10pm local time!
New battery went in when I was having my ECU issues late last year, and the trucks been driven regularly so I don't think it's an issue, I had good voltage earlier when I was driving to try for the first log.
Could it be fuel pump, as that would explain the engine shutting off.... As of now it's cranking and wanting to fire but not properly starting up
