She's a nice looking unit, congratulations! :arms: Record your fuel usage for a month or so then work out your economy; averages range from 9 to 14.5ltr/100 on this forum. Interested to know how you go...

Thats one very nice D2 Basil congratulations on one of Landrovers finest :)
Thanks guys.
I love the leather, but that steering wheel gives me the shudders everytime I look at it.
When we were doing the deal for the car, I tried to get the dealer to have it dyed black... Seems as thou he "wasn't able to find anyone"
But that aside, I am very happy with it, and with the dealer. They have gone out of their way to help, including pulling the dash out to find an annoying squeak behind there. Still looking for that one.
i have an annoying rattle from what seems under the rubber mat area on the trans tunnel. i'm ready to grow claws and start digging! your car looks beautiful though, inside and out. i'm with you about the 2-tone steering wheel.
Funny you should mention the rattle.
Over the past couple of days, I have heard a noise that the best way to describe it would be a marble in the ashtray. It is only there when I take off from a total stop, but not there when I brake.
I have pulled everything out of the glove box, removed the ash tray & coin holder, taken everything out of the centre cubby box, and still cant find it.
I am about to go an have a look under the seats with a torch, and just see...
