Yep, yours looks like a real "silver" colour...as opposed to the Blenheim that looks like it's got a bit of Pilbara red dirt mixed through it...like this:

Can you get some touch up paint maybe to match yours?
Cheers

you're kinda right there. I've traced mine (well at least the cab, the chassis now is a HQ Holden setup) back to being a working towtruck from near Ballarat. It's not in the best shape, but I guess thats the fun of it. It'll take me a while to get done as I'm up to my neck in a turbo Falcon project right now, but I really dig the Stude. Can't wiat to drive it one day

Cant comment on the "snorkels" - seems most comments over on disco3.co.uk are that the Land Rover "raised air intake" is just that - and NOT a waterproof snorkel. It certainly was brillinat on recent Red Centre trip - the air filter was fine after 4500kms off road which is remarkable. I havent done any water crossings but have been told the entry in the body work on the LR RAI is NOT waterproof.
I can say the Long Ranger tank is excellent as is teh Opp Lock rear wheel carrier.
This is my first Land Rover believe it or not - wow, what an incredible car. I cant imagine anything better at what its designed to do and I am SOOO glad I didnt follow so many others into a Prado; I dont doubt they are very good but the air suspenion on this D3 is incredible. It has to be the most comfortable 4wd on the market on serious corrugated roads ( a la Finke to Chambers Pillar!!!!).
The Kimberley Kamper we hired was also Brilliant; I was amazed at how well it towed; worth every cent I suspect (I know they are $$$ but having towed it I understand why!).
