D2 Cheapest Lift

Cheapest lift is to go to a spring manufacturer and tell him what you want - 4 x linear springs = $600 incl GST. Then get shocks to suit - that'll require a bit of shopping around.

DIY is cheaper than off the shelf + you get what you want as opposed to what is available.

Ooops, they were cheap when i was looking, cheaper than the Lovells off the shelf and way cheaper than my custom ones, maybe i got a bargin.

You definitely get what you pay for. Keep away from TJM, particularly their front shock absorbers fail in the bottom bush. The bush is too small and not glued to the housing. I went through two pairs, they were replaced under warranty, however these failures occured on the bitumen around 5000 - 8000 ks. Got my money back and had Bilsteins installed. Rear coils lost 30mm of the 50mm lift after a 6000km Simpson Desert crossing last October. I had to fight TJM to replace these under warranty.

If you require reliability and durability, spend the money on a good set-up, otherwise I wouldn't bother doing it. I think there are others who have learnt the hard way as well.....
