Thread: Disco service in Melbourne inner west

I was told there is a place called British Car Care in West Melbourne. Stawell Street I think. I'm considering going there myself.

Not quite in your area but i would recommend Range-Rov in Mitcham and Les Richmond Automotive in Thomastown.

"British & American 4x4 Parts" are out that way, on Geelong Rd in Brooklyn. They do parts and seriving/repairs & are probably the closest to Yarraville.

The dealer we bought our Range Rover from has used them to do a few bits of statutary warranty work on our car since they provided the lowest quotes and they have been pretty good. Replaced a suspension airbag/strut, tracked down a coolant leak that required the transmission to be removed/refitted etc. Perfectly happy with the work they have done.

Only thing that i found distinctly offputting is they share one end of a very large building with a dismantling crowd called "Car Busters" - never a comforting prospect when you're having work done...

They always seem to have a large selection of Discoverys/P38s etc in for work so are likely to be more comfortable with them than they were with our L322 - i'd happily take my Disco to them but would probably take the L322 to Ritters/Deacons who see more of them were i paying for work on it myself.

British Car parts/care in West Melbourne are still around but recently moved i think, their parts place is still in Stawell St but not servicing - think it'll still be nearby however.
