    Longer airbags

Does anybody know where I can get longer air bags for a d2?????
I have a 2" lift with spacers and would like a 3" lift.
I would prefer to keep the air rear end.
All Ive struck is dead ends.

Is it correct that you legally can not body lift SLS vehicles?
All I want is one more inch.

    Yours Mark

This doesn't directly answer your question, but you could probably run the 2" spacers as per normal, and then adjust the sensors to run another inch of air volume into the bag. The shock will always limit the extension on the bag so it doesn't pull apart.

Try giving airbag man a call or search, they're in QLD & I'm sure they have extended bags for a D2.

Arnotts from Hard Range in QLD may also have something.

    Thanks guys,
I e-mailed Arnotts and they only sell ome, I think
thats were Hard range get there bags from but will ring on Monday.
I had rang Airbag Man a while ago and no luck.

I found with up hill and quite serious undulating ground and with the bags full ( with the lift button) you lose articulation and can really get some serious air under the front wheels, let the bags down and she walks with no problems.
If i trick the sensors I think im going to lose performance.
I have limiting straps so no ripping bags apart.
I'm running 32"(just under)mtz and would like to run 33".
That guard cutting of Slunnies looks to daunting at the moment, just to fitt 33".

    Any suggestions are appreciated.
    Yours

Mick is on his honeymoon at the moment but it might be worth a PM to see if the ones he has suit your purpose.

    Ricey,
I heard that you could inter change the bags then heard you could'nt?.
If you can Im very interested, Thanks.
If not, maybe a 1" spacer ontop of the bag, maybe I should just go coils

im having the same sort of debate atm with my d2 and im starting to lean towards just going for the coils as im more interested in flex then towing. plus the reliabilty of coils vs air. how does it go with the blocks in the back?

IMHO a new compressor and set of bags will outlast a new set of coils by 4 to one.
