    Sorry for all the questions, but it is this or a powertank/equivalent taking up space with the fridge in the rear.

    Jusvt fitted ARB tray

    Hi all,

    Fitted the ARB tray into mine today and as most already know the EXIDE ED4R is what the recomend, pretty small but will probably do well for overnights with the fridge and the rest. Has any one fitted a bigger on with out changing the way it mounts? If so can some one please tell me wich model etc. The N50 i have heard of but to my knowledge they do not have the tabs on the botton that get held down by the ARB carrier.

    Thanks

    A Delkor Dc24 70A/H deep cycle will fit. You'll need to make a new heat sheild, and a new hold down ... but it's 70A/H!

    I think Tombie has/had a 70A/H Cat battery fitted in the firewall position too. Not sure of the model. Search !

    Dual air must mean that the aircon can be controlled from the back of the vehicle?

    Dual air is;

    There is a secondary A/C system for the rear of the vehicle. There are controls at the rear and a master switch at the front. It runs of the one compressor and condenser but two evaporators.

    The additional plumbing is in the LHR corner of the engine bay and gets in the way of the ARB tray (or did).
