Hmm, That install looks ok,, I'm sure loading stuff directly on top of an orange battery is OK-----

I still think on the chassis is a better idea,,
    the weight is lower,
    the cable run is better/easier,
if something unforseen happens, there are less heavy objects in the cab,,

the engine bay is cluttered enough without a second battery I reckon

    now there's an idea........

My cables runs on top of the drive side chassis. So....install another battery in compressor position, cut & interrupt power and negative wires and have a second auxilary battery.

Down next to the SLS compressor is where I have my second Aux Battery mounted. I have it dedicated to run the fridge and the smaller Aux battery on the ARB tray under the bonnet runs lights, stereo, UHF etc. I mounted it there as I have no room in the back (cubby boxes) as its a seven seater and I didn't want to remove a seat.

hey thanks for the pictures and info MUCH appreciated. Now all I have to do is find somone who sells it over here or will ship one from over there.

Can I be a pain and ask a few more questions,

1: does it fit to exsiting mounting points ?
2: How long / wide is the tray in MM, (ie max length of battery that will go in it)
3: whats the height or distance from tray bottom to the top of the bulk head seal ? Trying to work out if an Optima yellow top will fit in there
4: what shop did you get it from ? cost ? as I need to see if its feasable to get one shipped over ?

    Thanks again
