My fan kept running ie. ignition on fan on. Replaced injector harness and cleaned main engine harness and connectors and my fan went off. Electric fan running can be related to oil in the harness at the ECU connector. I have also had an injector fail and they are easy to diagnose with a nanocom or similar. Just do a solenoid test to find which injector is causing the problem say #1, then swap #1 and #2 injector connectors and re-do the test. If the problem is still with #1 using #2 harness, the problem is the injector, if the problem transfers to #2 the problem is the harness or ECU. You can then swap the #1 and #2 pins in the harness connector at the ECU and same thing, if it transfers the problem it is the ECU, if it stays with the same injector it is the harness. Without a nanocom you have to swap injectors, but make sure you swap the good one back.

Wont be home for another few days, I will turn off the A/C and run the engine then and see how we go.
How do I clean the conector?
It has a new injector loom now and they did not charge me for the injector.
I will have to wait to see how it all goes and will post up how it goes.
Thanks for the replies.

CAN LINK ERROR
This the code that keeps coming up. any ideas.
The car now runs fine, the electric fan only coming on with the A/C.
Techno British cleared all the codes but CAN LINK ERROR still comes up.
All input welcome.
Other than that I love my Disco, New Cooper ATR's goping on today along with a UHF getting installed.
Thanks.
