I'd PM slunnie,,
but the limits are VERY easy to remove,,
and if you take off too much--
very easy to add a washer to restore!

When I found this thread I thought that my prayers had been answered.
Having moved recently from a Disco 1 to a Disco 2 I like everything about the new beast EXCEPT the turning circle. I have nearly clipped the bus a number of times in carparks, and had to reassess U-turns due to the difference.
I went to remove my bump stops but currently neither of them is touching! The right hand one would be about 10mm short and the left about 5mm.
Any thoughts??
Cheers - David
The D2 with 18's will need a MUCH bigger circle than with 16's,,,
neither are really good in carparks,,
hmmm there is a post in here somewhere about steering stop lengths,,

I gotta say, the turning circle on my D2 is attrocious compared to my RRC and thats with the 23mm stops!
The RRC does half a cul de sac, the D2... well... lets just say i see both sides close up!!
Cheers
Andrew
I have no problems with "her" DiscoTD5 doing U turns, it turns tight enough for me.
BUT it might be only comparative
I drive "my" Series3 109 tray back, and compared with my mates F150, even the old series3 turns tight.
My concern would be the extra stress put on the swivel joints.
