    Question dual batteries

Have purchased setup for dual battery, for my 02td5, it is the solenoid type. Is this ok to use in the D2 , don't want to upset the electronics in the car
    Thanks Greg

Solenoid types work fine, Just connect up the solenoid to a supply after the ignition switch, so the second battery will be isolated when you turn off the ignition.

The Traxide battery isolaters are simplicity itself and reasonably inexpensive and excellent battery isolators. I also like the arrangement which prevents the discharge of the battery beyond a certain level.

I just used a change over switch arrangement for years now without a problem - just the discipline to turn off the battery when stopped for a few days.
