    OMG!!!!!!

ok so i fitted the new hoses from BAS last week and have to say very happy.
check out the pictures of the smaller hose from turbo

i reckon there was approx 40% reduction of internal space due to the delamination of the old hose. the other hose looked ok.
car goes better and next mod the egr

    cheers

Wow, mine didn't look anything like that, that's amazing

I was amazed by the difference that my silicon hoses made, mine are the 3 ply Samco not 5 ply like B.A.S.

    Cheers Baz.

I dont know whether its a sales pitch, or its true, but do the BAS hoses have this ?

    Quote from TD5alive site

All our premium grade silicone hoses come with an oil resistant 'flouro' liner, which has a dark grey colour. This is used as an important protective barrier, to prevent oil from migrating through the layers, causing discolouring and delamination of the hoses. This lining is very expensive and is often omitted in 'budget' hoses, so is a good indication of quality

Urban Panzer, I'm not sure of the answer, I'm sure B.A.S. will be around to put us straight. But you can see from these pictures the inner layer is a different material from the outer on the BAS hoses.. I'm happy with mine.

    Cheers, Mark

Military, I'm guessing that you need to order them direct from the UK website. I just wish they had hoses listed for my Disco 300 TDi !

    Samco supply TD5 Alive

    This is from SFS's site

    Q. Are the hoses suitable for oil and petrol?
Standard hoses are only suitable for air and water, for oil vapour we offer fluoro silicone hoses.
