    Angry YIKES my key broke

Yikes my key broke of deep in the ignition and I and RACQ can't get it out so it looks like I'm in for a new ignition switch and key Does any one know of a spare ignition and key setup going at the moment for a 2000 TD5 ?

    or

extract it using a fine seal probe or a bit of insulated wire with a dot of superglue on the end. insert carefully and if the wire was stiff enough you will grab the key and be able to pull it out.

I had the RACV break my key when the ignition jammed. (nice work )

They arranged a Locksmith (at my expense ) to get it out.

Nonetheless the locksmith got it out no problems - cost about $120 (on site) from memory.

(I am still debating with RACV who should pay for this )

Oh, and Welcome to the forum too Craig
