I have a 55AH Fullriver and Dual batt system that cost me under $300, lets my run my fridge, lights, chargers and even an inverter to charge the camper battery overnight, I can go for about 3 days, longer if I run the car for 15mins a day, whatever DBS you guys are running, I'D CHANGE IT.

DBS from www.traxide.com.au and battery from APS Sydney.

    Cheers Baz.

Hi folks and I’m going to jump in on this thread and push my gear.

I normally don’t but there is a much cheaper way to achieve what your after with out the high cost but low return of using a thumper.

If you have a specific need for a thumper then this won’t help but if your just thinking of buying a thumper as a means of getting some extra battery capacity then this will help.

If you fit what ever size battery you can get to fit under the bonnet and then install one of my SC40 Dual Battery controllers, you will effectively near double the useable capacity of your auxiliary battery, giving you about the same to possibly a little more stored capacity than if you added a thumper.

Just a suggest of a much cheaper alternative.
