Thanks all for sharing the vids. I noticed that most tracks are rocky type (Jezzaol - you lucky bugger, would love to have a challenging track like that!). We mainly have mud/water, some tracks a pretty rutted but as yet I havent gound "boulder heaven" here

    Cheers,

    Cheers,
I'd rather mud over boulders, rocks are hard and tend to damage everything

Yes your right but mud tends to be very unpredictable and can cause more damage if control is lost ? and Hard Objects (tree's) com in contact with panels ! Also its more momentum and right foot that comes into play with mud, with a good rocky / boulder track you get the chance to see what the vehicle can do at idle and try different approach's if necessary ! I tend to do less damage in this situation !! But combine the two (mud & Rock) and .........

    Cheers

I spose you have a point there
It's just i don't like the sound of steel on rock grinding away at your diffs, chassis, sill, body work
But then again if your smart you'd avoid that

For me, I like to have a change of scenery in this sense. I would love to be faced with a rock challenge, to be able to analyse a technical track rather than face a muddy bog hole and just punch through it.

Sample of terrain comon at the spot we go to.
