I think on Discos they have trouble with hoses collapsing too which cause symptoms like this.
Having a few gremlins with the Td5 folks.
When climbing up to Maleny last week, it felt like it wasn't going to make it at one stage. Lack of revs, wouldn't kick down and generally laboured.
It is "surging" under heavy acceleration and or load.
It struggles sometimes (to accelerate) on take off, then at about 2250-2500 whooska - it's off.
I had been looking at replacing hoses with silicone hoses, do EGR blank, clean MAF sensor anyway.
Someone also mentioned it could be the wastegate or wastegate modulator?!
What do you think this could be?
Could it just be collapsed/ing hoses or something more serious?
Thanks in advance for your assistance
