Hey bud.
I went to a audio place and put in a Pioneer with built in bluetooth.
Works a treat and no need for hands free kit now, it just cuts in too the phone.
The head unit also has a USB and i pod and god knows what else.
I took the speakers out because they showed their age and put in focal ones, with a plit tweeter in the front.
Totally agree, it needs a sub since LR never put anything bigger that 10cm spekers in and they just cant move enough air for the any bass.
Focal also make a active sub to go under the seat, very neat but a bit pricey($495).
Happy listening
That's the Sony unit installed ..............

Nice looking stereo and padding. Can i ask where u purchased the dash matt and the pockets on top. Most dash matts down cover the pass side air bag does yours or not. Have been lookn for a nice dash matt cover and like to pockets on top. cheers:D
Got the dash mat from Southern Landrover in Perth. Yes - it does cover the passengers side airbag, but this is a separate section of the mat and is held to the main body of the mat by only a couple of stitches which would easily break free in the event the airbag is activated - I thought most dash mats were like this.
The dash pods (pockets) can be bought from any decent 4WD accessory store (ARB, Opposite Lock etc). There are two different manufacturers of these that I know of - Black Widow and Michelle's Sacs - I have one of each. In my opinion, the Black Widow one (in the picture) is the better of the two. The other one I have has been demoted to the dash of my work car (an Astra).
