Just after I bought the D2 in Feb 2010. First ride on Stockton Beach (dunes) just before the computer chipping, 2" lift kit, snorkel, bullbar, winch and lift kit. A mate got a great capture of the swirling sand off the back wheels as she clawed her way up a fairly moderate dune.

Rides much better now with the mods but if you have noticed my previous posts, continual failures of the EFS front shockers have placed my disco as unreliable. Pfft, they even failed on bitumen use only.... Crap product to be avoided!

Going to get some terra firma shocks fitted next week.

New here and new to owning a Disco. Its standard at the moment, even down to the tyres, but I'm hoping once I have laid out for the tyres (which are desperate), everything shouldn't be as expensive!



This will be my new project. I've only just moved to Australia, to Perth. I had built a car in the UK to import, but the authorities over here said it wouldn't be legal and couldn't get registered, so i had to sell it after 2.5 years of building it! gutted.

Welcome to Perth mate
The authorities here aren't very forgiving, I've done the import thing before and there are plenty of hurdles and headaches in the process..
