    Hey Stevo

Your D2a looks excellent with the new bar and spotties plus snorkel. I have been deciding whether to bolt on some goodies like you have to my d2a or update to a D3. My heart says do up the D2a but logic says buy a D3.

Bugger its hard to get anything better in the looks department then a nice D2a with the right extra's bolted on.

    cheers,
    Terry

Thanks....I've had both...ie the D3 and now the D2. Pro's and con's with both. Mind you when I had my D3, mod options were low....now you can mod one pretty much as well as a D2. Storage capacity in the back and 7 seat config is better than the D2, though I do prefer that I am already lifted and can have 16 inch rims and better tyre options. Only D3 I would consider would be a diesel on 17's, as can get same boots as Smokey has......and tyres were one of the biggest downfalls of the D3 when I had one.

If I wasn't looking at getting a 130 or equivalent in next 12-18 mths.....I was looking to get another D3....for now though will mod Smokey and enjoy.

Howdy stranger....Smokeys doppleganger , will have to catch up soon, and you can admire Smokey's new additions

    Regards

    Stevo

As I have mentioned previously the land Rover 'Brush Bar' needed to go and today it did.

Started getting the old one off and putting the new bits on and all went pretty well - until Derek turned up.

Anyway two and a half hours and much, much perspiration later the result was this:

Even the other driver likes it.

PS. Did a headlight globe change between bars too. Opted for the Philips Clear Vision 4300K. Nice.

255/70. Had one let go on the way to Darwin last June. Only running them around Gove to get some wear out of them. Changing over to 245/75 Silent Armor (USA Made).

ARB Bar should survive the next drive out. Last one wouldn't have.

No he arrived to help lift the bar on and that's when we had the trouble.

However drinks cabinet may have helped as it was a tad warm.
