Looking nice there Chris... Couple of quick questions:
(1) - Whats your reason for the 32mm body lift?
Not going to pick on it.. Just curious..
33's will fit under there on slightly taller springs
(2) - What rims are you getting?
Thanks Tombie,
To answer your questions.
(1) Body Lift - I will be running high offset beadlocks with 35x12.5 Maxxis Creepy Crawlers on weekend trips at the parks and I went with the body lift and maximum 75mm spring lift to come within the QLD regulations and the proposed NCOP for modifications, so with engineer approval I can keep the vehicle legal and still be able to fit the play tyres at the parks.
The other reason is that I will be running raised shock mounts instead of long bumpstops as to not limit any upward wheel travel in the suspension and need the little bit of extra clearance.
(2) Rims - The rims are a 18x9 Force Offroad blank drilled to the D2 PCD and machined to a 32mm offset to gain the extra 50mm in wheel track.

Well I like it Chris, its a well thought out machine![]()
Having trolled the forum for a long time I thought I would throw up some Pics.
Nothing special but trying to make a capable Rig on a very limited Budget.
Rhino Roof Racks - 3/4 Rack to be sourced or possibly made
Side Steps - Home Made Job
Nudge Bar - (better then nothing)
Flares - (Nudge Bar and Flares thanks to CJT - Chris, purely random E-Bay purchase)
2" lift - Kings and Terra Firma Shocks
Narva Driving Lights
245/75/16 Tyres
7 Seater
Hayman Reese Towbar
Other then that just a standard 2000 TD5.
As we are a family of 6 also have a fully enclosed 7 x 4 Trailer matched height and track of the Discovery and Roof Pod which makes travel possible.
