Thoughts re: front prop shaft failures

The across the cross dimension is misleading.

One is measured from outside of the caps to outside of the caps (B1 dimension for the 1310 and OE)
The Japanese 25R is measured from the circlip groove (B2 dimension) which is at the base of the caps, so you have almost the full depth of the cap to the outside of the cross, so without having one here to measure, I'm having a wild arse guess and reckon anywhere from 20-30mm can be added to that across the cross measurement.
