Thread: D2a interior colours?

Black or Beige from memory. There may have also been grey.

When we got ours I remember it depended on the exterior colour - Monte Carlo Blue meant black interior. I do recall that some exteriors had the option of both either colours.

hmm, had a look at a Monte yesterday,,
had a, well, yellow interior.
right up till then----

oh,, and a 2002 build date.
thats pretty damn early isnt it?

I thought 2003 was the earliest - maybe not.

Ours is white and Black was the only option, not that I was too upset by that

I remember seeing a green one that had a light beige sort of colour - didn't do much for me. I think they were the only two available and seem to remember as dm said, it did depend on the external colour as to which was available, only a few had the option of both - of course that could have just been the sales pitch for what was in Oz when we bought it.

No 2002 isn't early. The first shipment came in in the first half of the last quarter of 2002. By December 2002 there was very little choice left and we actually ordered ours in December, it was built in February and arrived in late April 2003.

If you've seen a Beige interior and Monte blue then all I can say is my memory isn't what it used to be... it's been over 6 years since we looked at and then bought a D2a

Also leather was an option on all models except the HSE which came standard. Ours was the base model. Then came the S, SE and HSE. SE and HSE were both 7 seaters with electric seats. From memory when we bought ours, the S was also only a 7 seat configuration.

I think the D2a is still the best looking LR built.

D2update will have alpaca, black and Grey for the leather. the exteriour colour dosnt seem to be specific to any interiour colour. ive looked at heaps of updates latley

there was even one that was black exteriour, had alpaca with blue piping the seller reckons it would put a horn on a jellyfish....i thought it was gastly

I'd go along with that. The D3 is too box like (and remember I own 2 Defenders)

That's right - Alpaca! The marketing name for beige... or as Pedro put it "a, well, yellow interior" which is probably the best description of the colour.
