Agree with Aaron40, Bendix 4x4 pads with slotted EBC rotors. No more squeal or three amigos. I have heard that some of the tougher pads can throw off hot particles that can discolour the rims if you are not careful.
I don't care what the LR dealers say about non genuine pads and discs, the LR ones don't work well.

2016 Discovery D4 SDV6 HSE ARB Bar, lights and winch. Wow
I have had my Disco for the last 10 years now, and have gone back to LR genuine pads and rotors. I have used EBC, Bendix and Lucas.
I have found that some aftermarket pads can create the dreaded squeal and cause the 3 amigos to appear like christmas lights on my dash.
The LR genuine pads and rotors have the best feel and brake, IMHO. I now tow a campervan so I wanted the best possible brake performance. The only negative I have about the LR genuine pads is that they blacken the wheels all too readily.![]()
Ive tried
OE pads
EBC green 2000 pads
EBC green 6000 pads
Lucas TRW pads
Bendix pads
OE rotors
EBC slotted dimpled rotors
Dba slotted rotors
Of the lot I think the EBC 2000 pads are the best but no longer available and the Bendix pads at this stage seem to be very very good also. OE pads are way dusty, the TRW's squeel, the EBC 6000s are prone to fade.
Rotors, the OEs are fine but wear quickly. The EBC slotted dimpled are fine but seem to be hard and I'm not convinced they have given the best friction coefficient. The dba slotteds are very good.
If I was replacing everything now.... I would get the dba slot rotors, and the EBC 2000 pads (which are not available) and so the Bendix pads.
Cheers
