Why can't we do a Derryn Hinch and "name and shame" companies who are giving poor customer service? If we as consumers have to protect the reputation of companies, they can drop their quality of workmanship and get away with it.
If we are not allowed to give our feedback on companies poor performance, does it make magazines like Choice a moot point? After all, they evaluate all competitive products so that consumers who are seeking for information can make better informed decisions without having to buy the product first only to find it to be a disappointment.

From what I've gathered during my time here on AULRO, it's only sponsors of the site that you're not allowed to name and shame!!
I actually have a prob with this, as why should people not be aware that there are - dare I say it - even sponsors of sites like this that are happy to rip people off.
I'm certainly not saying all are rip-off merchants, and similarly I'm very aware that there are some places who don't sponsoer this site that are equally as bad.
Why don't we start weeding them out for our own and others benefits?
Maybe a section should be devoted to those people/places/websites that actually have very fair/reasonable prices for parts and services, and offer good value for money, based on recommendations and past experiences, and not purely on how much they pay in advertising.
It may make some of those less reputable "sponsors" reconsider their positions in the market place?

This was when I named a particular place (sponsor) for what I considered shoddy work, but it didn't get removed when I gave them some praise.
Name somewhere else not sponsoring the site for shoddy work and the post doesn't get "edited".
Don't get it. Apologies for any offence, coz it's not intended.
Don't wanna cause a huge issue over it, I just don't get it.

yep... it is utter drivel that it only applies to system sponsors and i find the assertion down right insulting..
