    Best place to wire up low coolant level

    In a Disco IIa, where is the best place to wire up the LCL. What wires?

    The coolant alarm thats fitted to mt D2 is also fitted on Dads D2a fits into the bleed screw on the top rad hose.I didnt wire it as I was away but it took an auto lecky 20mins I would think it wires to the ignition as when you go to start the car it beeps to arm itself the beeps once started to let you know its working...Would think the rave cd would have the wiring diagram for the ignition.

    I wired mine to the power feed line to the brake light switch (that wire only has power when the ignition switch is in the on position. Im not sure of the colour but a test light will soon tell you.

    Sorry to interupt, what type is suitable. Top radiator hose looks like a suitable place. Where will I get one & how much, thanks,Geoff
