Just got a set of Goodyear Wrangler silent armours 245/70/16.Will see how they go down the kimberly's next week,hopefully will get a better run than I got from Cooper s/t..dont think they can be any worse so will be keen to see if they are as good as the bloke up here say's they are.
Paid $260 a tyre fitted and balanced so compared to the coopers and afew others I looked at was happy with that..Did get quoted as high as $310 per tyre so pays to shop around.

I had LT225/75-16 on my D2 and thought they were quite good but can't get that size now. I did Madigan's with them and although I managed to put a stake through 1 sidewall, it was temporarily repaired with plugs then patched later to finish getting worn out.
