it almost sounds like your drag link is out. thats the link between the steering box and the LHS steering knuckle. but, that should also put your steering wheel out also?
toe in/out will sort this but what i was getting at was dont go to where ever and ask for a wheel alignment as they will probably charge you for checking the castor when it cant be adjusted. it should save you some money
the other cause maybe something like a bent radius arm or dead bushes, worn king pin bearings (or what ever a D2 has?) or at worst a bent diff housing.
