great keen to hear whether it works, my car is with MIS but Slunnies description seem to differ for my car as the colours of the cable are not the same.

Update: Daniel managed to tap in to it now I mentioned the jcar box and he said they are crap and quite likely would not work however that may be self-interest so I'm keen to hear whether you guys get this done for $50 which would be awesome.

The JayCar units have been tried numerous times. Like most units, they don't work on the D2 because of it's unique signal.

actually the D2 signal isn't unique it is a typical sine wave form, the issue is where the unit intercepts and outputs that signal. To maintain Cruise, BCU sync ABS and HDC and TC. The signal needs to be modified prior to the SLABS ecu, rather than modifying post ECU to the speedo as most (as instructions state) do.

I spoke to Wayne and he mentioned he may get more in early next year and I could pre-order some units US$150 + shipping (US$30).

If I can't get the speedo corrected today I will need to order this, anyone else interested in a group pre-order?
Was this price based upon a group discount, obviously you won't be after one now.
