You get used to it lol. I would also like to correct the needle but have become quite complacent with the GPS and nanocom giving me the same numbers. Even if you don't use any of those 2 like I said you get used to the change and automatically compensate.

my reason for the correction is that I like to get all my modifications engineered and no engineer will sign off if you actually drive faster then your speedo says

True - I'm already used to it after less than 2 weeks - but, I'm not the only one who drives the car, so it would be good to have it right for them if it's an economical fix.

Is Superlift the only supplier of the Truespeed unit?
I checked the Superlift website for an email address but could not see one, I'll try again tomorrow using the desk top.
    .

I think they are originally manufactured by Samras in Iceland.

Good to see folk are still looking into this
I've been to lazy to fix mine yet now I run maps with a GPS speedo on the dash.
It's still on the wish list.

Keep us informed on what results you get please Ollie.

It either connects to the speedo drive at the transmission end or the ABS unit.
It would not be usable on the Disco 2

There is a guy that posts to discoweb that says he's using one on a d2.

    Your right
I just spent an hour looking into this further.
Thanks for the link, it was one I found while at it.

From what I've found we need a...
    Superlift TruSpeed 33002 Module B

Possibly the unit...TruSpeed™ Speed Sensor Recalibrator · Superlift · www.superlift.com
    (As linked earlier by twr7cx)
    Fitting instructions..http://www.superlift.com/instructions/33003.pdf
There is 4 different fitting pdf sheets with no reference to any Land Rovers.
We need to identify the correct wire at the SLABS to cut though.

I couldn't find an e'mail link on the Superlift site either.
They do have a free call and fax line numbers listed.

I'll leave Ollie or Steve223 to look into it now

    Cheers, Kyle.
