    OME Nitrocharger Sports Shocks

I have just purchased an Old Man Emu 50mm lift for my '00 D2 - thought a bit of extra clearance and new shocks would do wonders, especially since I have just had an ARB Sahara Bar fitted. I was originally going to purchase an Ironman lift kit with foam cell shocks, but changed after I discovered I could go OME for about the same price.

Anyway, my question is this: the shockers that I received with my kit are OME's new Nitrocharger Sports Shock Absorbers - they are actually more expensive than OME's original Nitrocharger shocks, but I received the new for the same price as the old (couldn't knock that back!). Has anyone else had these fitted and know what they are like?

i think its just there new marketing scam. i think they are going to be there new line to replace the old OME branding.

dont think there is any differance between the actual shocks.

    cheers phil

According to the ARB guys they are a great shock... im about to find out though, i got some nice and cheap to put on prado, but anything over the stock suspension on that would be a vast improvement!

    Hi Blink.
I have had the old ones on my '00 D2 for about 18 months and they have been great. That doesn't answer your question but leads into my request of could you let us know how they go?
    cheers JP

Thanks GB, I will let you know how they go. Not getting put on until next Tuesday - they probably won't get a serious test until 6 or so weeks from now when myself and a few mates head up to the Flinders to do Skytrek!

We are needing new shocks for our D2a and OME are in the running at the moment (still checking other options)

    how are they going?
    easy to fit?
    perform as expected?
    good / bad?

    would you fit them again?

    Thanks

    Hay Ewe
