I am not sure of the angle but ARB has managed to reduce it,
AND their top of the range bar "the Sahara" DOES NOT HAVE RECOVERY POINTS................:eek:.:mad::mad::mad:
A mate has the standard bumper and 2 inch lift like my car, I will compare angles one day,
He is in WA, I am in QLD

ARB for me and I tend to agree that it looks like it sticks out too far. (I will just need to put more lift under it). I didn't think TJM do a steel bar - please correct if wrong. ARB do both a winch bar and a non-winch. In the UK, alloy might be a good option. The steel ones are pretty heavy.
I have, and use the recovery eyes. A friend of mine is a mechanical engineer and has advised that they are okay to use for recoveries but recommends using a load equaliser strap and MAKE SURE ALL BOLTS ARE HIGH TENSILE!!
You have a Land Rover so it's probably more important to have good rear recovery points as these are used to pull out 'cruisers and patrols.:twisted:
